The Jetson Xavier SoM is a powerful platform containing 6 different types of processors. In the following pages, we will analyze each one of them and show you how to access and use them on Linux for Tegra. These processors are:

• Octal-core NVIDIA Carmel ARMv8.2 CPU @ 2.26GHz
• 512-core Volta GPU with 64 Tensor Cores
• (2x) Deep Learning Accelerator (DLA) engine

As part of the HD Audio and video subsystem  :

• Vision Accelerator engine (software support for the Vision Accelerator will be coming in a future release)
• (4x) 4Kp60 H.264/H.265 video encoder
• (2x) 8Kp30 / (6x) 4Kp60 H.264/H.265 video encoder
