Hailo-15 AI Vision Processor Overview

The Hailo-15 is a series of AI vision processors designed specifically for smart camera applications. It incorporates Hailo's advanced AI inference capabilities alongside cutting-edge computer vision technologies. The system-on-chip (SoC) delivers up to 20 tera operations per second (TOPS), enabling the simultaneous processing of multiple complex deep learning models. It also supports high frame-rate deep learning models, allowing faster and more accurate object detection in each image.
The Hailo-15 offers outstanding image quality, thanks to its AI-powered vision processing. It includes features such as low-light enhancement, image stabilization, and overall image optimization. With support for 4K60 image quality, the processor is equipped with a next-generation image signal processor (ISP) and an advanced vision subsystem that incorporates noise reduction (NR) and high dynamic range (HDR) algorithms. It also provides leading-edge digital signal processing (DSP) for video and high-quality video encoding.
In terms of flexibility and security, the Hailo-15 works with industry-standard frameworks and infrastructures, utilizing a Yocto-based runtime for Linux on the application processor. The SoC is industrial-grade and comes with a range of interfaces for image sensors, data, and memory. Key security features include secure boot, hardware-accelerated cryptographic libraries, TrustZone technology, a true random number generator (TRNG), and a built-in firewall.
