RidgeRun's PVA ISP is designed for teams that need more ISP control than NVIDIA Argus provides, but do not want to spend GPU budget on a CUDA-based ISP. It provides a configurable Image Signal Processing pipeline that leverages the NVIDIA Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA) to offload image processing tasks from the GPU, preserving GPU resources for AI, computer vision, and other compute-intensive workloads.

The pipeline includes key ISP stages such as demosaicing, anti-aliasing, auto white balance, black level correction, gamma correction, tone mapping, global tone mapping, and auto exposure. By executing these operations on the PVA, RidgeRun's PVA ISP offers a low-power, hardware-accelerated alternative for real-time camera applications that require flexibility, performance, and control over the image processing workflow.

RidgeRun's PVA ISP can be integrated through GStreamer for fast prototyping and pipeline-based applications, or through the C++ API for deeper product customization and direct control over ISP behavior.
