GstSEIMetadata

This wiki is a user guide for our GstSEIMetadata project. The project consists of one plugin called GstSEI which has three elements, that allow inserting and extracting metadata into and from a H264 or H265 encoded stream. Provides great flexibility as the video can be recorded or streamed in any way without losing information. Also, it does not affect the receivers or the decoders that don't support it. Some possible applications of this (just as an example) are to associate metadata to a specific video frame or send metadata and video together through a UDP or TCP connection without a mux.

In its current version, the plugin supports both H264 and H265 encoding.

In this wiki, you will find technical documentation, tutorials, examples, and much more!

You can purchase GstSEIMetadata, with full source code, from the RidgeRun Online Store or using the Shopping Cart shown below.
