Having regard to the state of the art in the embedded systems industry, RidgeRun is constantly working on incorporating the latest platforms to the list of supported products and hence it is now time for NXP's iMX 8 series applications processors. The i.MX8 series of applications processors is a multi-core platform that, as it also happened in the past, comes in several flavors: single, dual and quad-core families based on the ARM Cortex architecture.
