This section provides the information for the first boot up of the Rubik Pi 3. This guide assummes the following prerequisites:
- The user has a computer with a Linux OS. The steps presented in this guide were tested on Ubuntu 24.04.
What's in the box
Figure 1 shows the box that you receive when purchasing the Rubik Pi 3.

Inside the box comes the developer kit and a small quick start guide.

First boot
Requirements:
- USB type C power supply capable of 12V 3A (not recommended to use a laptop port to power the Rubik Pi)
- Micro-USB cable for serial port
- HDMI Display (optional)
The board comes already flashed with Ubuntu.
Step 1: Connect the HDMI display
This is optional, if you connect an HDMI display you will be able to see a minimal graphical interface.
Step 2: Connect the Micro-USB cable
Connect a Micro-USB cable to the Rubik Pi 3 kit port shown in the image below to your computer port.
Step 3: Connect the power supply
