RidgeRun Low Latency Network Kit

The RidgeRun Low Latency Network Kit (RLLN) is a RidgeRun project that aims to inform and simplify the data transmission over the Low Latency Network Kit. Low Latency Network Kit is a high-performance software stack that aims to get more performance when exchanging packets over the network.

With the Low Latency Network Kit, it will be possible to maximise network throughput while minimising packet processing latency, given that all the packets are processed directly on the userspace application without crossing the kernel thanks to the use of the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK).

The RLLN is currently under development. This wiki contains information about how to bring the Data Plane Development Kit up on an NVIDIA Jetson platform with an external and DPDK-compatible card.
