Network balancing in this context refers to a strategy used to distribute packets on a network so that the bandwidth required for a stable transmission can be optimized as much as possible. GstNetBalancer is a RidgeRun product that implements a network balancing strategy as a GStreamer element so that it can be integrated into the network streaming end of a pipeline. This implementation is independent of the rest of the pipeline so any previous processing is not affected. This also does not affect the receiver side of the stream since the protocol remains standard and no modifications are made to the network packets. In this wiki, you will find technical documentation, installation instructions, tutorials, examples, and much more! You can purchase GstNetBalancer, with full source code, from the RidgeRun Online Store or using the Shopping Cart shown below.
