Embedded python

A challange when developing custom applications for embedded audio / video streaming products is to us an approach that makes it easier for the RidgeRun customer to enhance the application without having to come back to RidgeRun for assistance. We have tried several different approachs over the years. Once approach that has been successful is writing the application controlling the device in python. For device controlled via an embedded web server, this approach has been very well received.

Python background

I hadn't used python before a customer insisted we give it a try. I found the Google python training worth the time.
