Considerations for the shipment process to RidgeRun

Before any shipment to RidgeRun Engineering please consider the following:

Weight:

• The maximum weight of the package should not exceed 1000kg.
• The total weight of all the packages (not just one, if you are sending multiple boxes) should not exceed 3000kg.

Dimensions:

• Use the standard pallets 120cmx120cm
• The height of the pallet must be less than 160cm
• Huge dimensions:
  • DHL does not accept packages that exceed 300cm

Security:

• Your packages must have a safe wrap in a box.
• Your packages could be organized by DHL in a secure way during the journey among others boxes in the same pallet.

Shipping costs

• Sending the hardware to RidgeRun Lab is considered part of the whole development process and, hence, will be billed to customer either as part of the total cost of the project or via a separate quote.
• In case the customer requires the hardware unit back once the project has concluded, the cost of sending the package will be billed to customer.
