USB-RS232 test OMAP35x

Having a console responding on the pc we tested the USB - RS232, install the minicom client. Configure the minicom client

RR@RidgeRun:~$ sudo minicom -s 

Go to Serial port setup option and fill the spaces as shown below:

     A -    Serial Device                : /dev/ttyUSB0                
     B -    Lockfile Location           : /var/lock                      
     C -    Callin Program              :                                    
     D -    Callout Program            :                                   
     E -    Bps/Par/Bits                   : 115200 8N1                  
     F -    Hardware Flow Control  : No                          
     G -    Software Flow Control   : No                           
        Change which setting?                                  
             Screen and keyboard     
             Save setup as USB0       
             Save setup as..              
             Exit from Minicom          

After exiting from minicom configuration , start the minicom service with the command line

RR@RidgeRun:~$ minicom

When the board initiate you would be able to a message as the one shown below
