Risks, assumptions, and customer responsibilities

The following table summarizes the key assumptions, risks, and customer responsibilities associated with RidgeRun's Jetson AGX Xavier and Jetson Xavier NX Extended Support Program. Please read carefully to fully understand the current support provided by RidgeRun and possible limitations:

ID Category Description
A-001 Assumption RidgeRun's support depends on the continued availability and maintenance of the CIP kernel project. Release schedules and maintenance activities are ultimately determined by the CIP community.
A-002 Assumption Validation is performed on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier and Xavier NX Developer Kit reference platforms. Support for custom hardware requires separate evaluation.
A-003 Assumption RidgeRun is not responsible for defects, regressions, vulnerabilities, or other issues introduced by third-party software components, including code maintained by the CIP project.
A-004 Assumption RidgeRun cannot modify, maintain, or extend support for NVIDIA proprietary software, firmware, drivers, or other closed-source components.
A-005 Assumption NVIDIA proprietary software components are developed and maintained independently from the CIP-maintained kernel baseline. Future kernel updates may introduce incompatibilities with proprietary NVIDIA software. RidgeRun cannot modify proprietary NVIDIA components and therefore cannot guarantee continued compatibility beyond what can be validated and supported through available NVIDIA releases.
R-001 Risk Issues observed on customer-specific hardware may require additional engineering effort to reproduce, investigate, and determine root cause.
R-002 Risk Defects or limitations originating from NVIDIA proprietary components may not be resolvable without vendor support.
C-001 Customer Responsibility Customers are responsible for validating the compatibility of their applications, middleware, and software stack with supported kernel releases.
